Can’t be a basketball fan under the age of 70 who feels this way, yet I’ve seen this take on multiple occasions……………… Must be Dale Brown and his minions..

That’s really neat.
I once payed to go see WW and the tigers at TCU only to see all those all stars and superior coaching get embarrassed by the Horn Frogs. That was also neat

I thought the goal was to win a National championship. At least Dale and John went to a final 4.

Winningest team in the league over 4-5 year stretch. Always competitive. Top 4 SEC consistent. Attitude. Crowds.

Will Wade is the most overrated coach in LSU history

I'm not even a basketball fan and WW had me interested in watching basketball. Only time I ever watched games.

The worst year under Will Wade was 18-15 with the worst SEC record being 8-10. That was his first year.

The best year under McMahon has been 17-16 and 9-9 in the SEC.

The year before Wade, LSU went 10-21

The year before McMahon, LSU went 22-12

To put McMahon in perspective, Trent Johnson's last season at LSU had a better record than McMahons best season. Johnny Jones won more games than McMahons best season in 4 of his 5 seasons.

He was (comparatively) a successful coach who nevertheless got caught cheating and through his recklessness endangered the rest of the athletic program.

You can say McMahon isn’t the guy while also saying Wade’s not the guy either.

Why are we keeping McSuckage around?

If we let Johnny,Trent, John, and WW go with better records ?

A lot more basketball games than McMahon. That’s a very low bar though.

The last LSU coach to be under .500 in his career as an LSU coach, Press Maravich

Why do will keep this loser?

Why would Wade not be the guy? He’s won everywhere he’s been. Is it because he got fire for doing something that’s not even “illegal” anymore?

Yes, LSU fans should not want a guy who was good at raising money to pay players…at a time a HC has to be good at raising money to pay players.
