competition + TDs and Yards compared to whatever Mendoza did = Joe Burrow was the best QB I have seen in college.

Lol. Short term memory world we live in. It’s nothing more than recency bias. Good team tho. Great coach.

Let’s wait and see how they do in the NFL. Burreaux had a weak NFL career.

Mendoza is very good but hasn’t reach the status of Burrow or Daniels. He only has 1 more game in college and not realistic for him to catch either in college.

His pro career is right around the corner let’s see what he does when he starts in NFL.

Now he is saying "I am not concerned with stats alone, nor am I concerned with regular season, nor am I saying Fernando or anyone had had near the season of Joe Burrow.

I am suggesting that Fernando is as good and maybe even a better qb than Burrow, based on his performance in these playoffs, and including his character.

You can’t use stats to refute me. That’s like you telling me Stetson Bennet is better than Burrow because he won 2 championships. Thats kinda dumb"

Mendoza would still need to throw for 2,300 passing yards and 19 more TDs to catch Burrow in those categories. And would have taken 1 more game to do it.

It’s impossible for him to be better than Burrow at this point. Tell your friend put the crack pipe down

Nope he doesn’t have a better team around him either. He is facing much MUCH weaker competition!

In a parallel universe, Burrow leaves Cinci after his rookie contract and signs with a different franchise with the right system and OC, and his career follows a similar arc as Brees with more Lombardi trophies to show for it.

Burrow threw 24 more TD passes in '19 than Mendoza has this year with the same number of interceptions playing arguably a more difficult schedule. That is INSANE.
