Not seeing many other options. Both have significant starting experience in SEC. With improved OL coaching could develop into decent serviceable pieces and could be occasional starters.

They are affordable and won’t be surprised by talent on SEC dl’s.
We need more bodies. We could do worse.

Mubenga and Chester may be serviceable at some FCS schools, but would struggle to make the 2 deep at many G5 schools. They are absolutely not SEC material.

I know. The better ones have already committed elsewhere. Would love Echols, Curne or Adams back instead. Not seeing a ton of options at this point. Perhaps more will enter the portal as more teams or eliminated from playoffs.

So you're saying because we haven't gotten enough offensive lineman in the time that makes you happy, that we should bring back one of the worst lineman we had? Do you really think our staff is freaking out saying oh no we're out of time!! There's no one left! What do we do??!!!!!! we should've never let Chester go!!!
Good lord.

Oh I forgot, we should bring them back because they won't be surprised that defensive lineman are better than they are. That's a great reason. The art of surprise is so underrated

I think they both stay in the FBS when the dust settles. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Chester at a P4 program.

I’d like to see both with better coaching, and Chester at guard which I think is his most natural position.

Where do people like you come from? How could you possibly know more about the game of football, understanding talent, and developing a roster than CLK?

What’s funny is they are both at least as good as the kid from Tenn that lsu just took a commitment from. You should probably rethink that statement

There are still 4 star OT and OIL transfers out there.
Mubenga and Chester serve LSU best by playing somewhere else

DJ Chester was one of the worst starting offensive lineman I have ever laid eyes upon.

I concur. Chester would be subtraction by addition. He needs to go to McNeese. If he starts again for LSU there isn't much hope for having an improved line.

The Turnstile Twins are better off starting fresh somewhere else.

I’ve seen enough of DJ Chester to know there are better options out there

I feel you. Remember we have solomon, Miller, moore, and weston. Cupboard isnt bare, it just needs help ha.

Also have commits from 3 new oline guys, so that's 7. Both bordelon boys (bo is rs sr and played fine against Baylor in last years bowl game and could be a solid backup in 5th yr, and Lil bro was a solid center recruit), so that's 9. And incoming ot stud recruit, 10.

We need to bring in another 2-3 starter potential guys, and we'll be at 12-13, with 8 competing for spots, best fit.

Neither are SEC lineman. No thanks. We've seen enough. They simply do not have it at this level.
