The fact that it’s a storyline every year the SEC doesn’t win the natty means it’s the top conference. There’s never been a “Big 10 misses 3rd straight national championship game…because it happens all the time.

Good for you to point this out.

Are you jerking off right now along with all the media hacks from the rest of the country that couldn't wait to mouth off after DECADES of SEC DOMINANCE???

Lol. Yeah, ignore the abysmal playoff record the last 3 years and their humiliating postseason this year, and make it about how they haven’t won it in 3 years, nevermind the fact they haven’t even had a team play for a title in that entire time.

The SEC is the most comically overrated conference of all time this season. I’m not saying that they suck, but they’re nowhere near the murderers row that they’re made out to be.

Ooh a thread where all the non SECers will flock to “their board” to circle jerk random non SEC teams getting to the championship. Should be good.

Things change over time. For quite awhile the SEC was head and shoulders above the rest. Now it's not. Heck, just a few years ago if you told someone that coming soon 3 of the last 4 teams in the running for a national championship would be Ole Miss, Indiana and Miami you would have been laughed out of the room.

And with NIL and the portal the changes are getting even more drastic

When is the last time the SEC beat a legit team in the playoff (autobids don’t count)?

I think it UGA over TCU, but could be proven wrong. Does the PAC12 have more recent playoff success than the SEC?

come on man. How fricking dumb is this logic?
If someone/something is dominating for years then stops dominating obviously that's going to be a storyline

I guess the chiefs were still the best team in the NFL this year

People still have conference pride?

That died with me after Bama's 2nd title. If LSU isn't winning, I want everyone else to lose.

Now now SEC fans will tell you about the gauntlet they have to play week in and week out. And now cry about 9 conference games! And best part is that if you were in the SEC your record would be 8-4 at best and you’d finished 7th behind a bunch and garbage team and Georgia

Everyone should think this way, full stop. Conference pride is a low iq move. Real beta stuff.
