Assume we take Greenland, what is the best way to do it, what do we offer?

Greenland is an area that is one and a half times the size of Alaska, its huge. It has a population of 56.000 people, less than Bossier City.
What do we offer the natives to make them at least not be violently against our takeover?
Big up front payment
Annual payments, a percentage of oil and minerals taken
4 generations of lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, rules as they are now
Parcel out some significant land for each family, with mineral rights.
Modern medical care, assuming that is lacking.

When you say Newfoundland, I am thinking of the province in Canada.
Though, I am not adverse to taking Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The Inuit would be probably put under Indian Health Services and land would go through Bureau of Indian affairs. This extends out in perpetuity as long as you have proof of Indian blood. Natives dont pay for healthcare as long as they use IHS facilities, so those would need to be built and staffed. Generally folks hired are preferentiallly hired if Native.
Congress would probably make a law or amend current laws to extend to them. They'd probably go the ANSCA route and give them money and set up native corporations. (Look into Alaska native law)
Warning natives are very into socialism because thats how it worked in the villages. Same as their coastal relatives in Southwest Alaska, and along the North slope (although those folks do like oil money because they are sitting on a bucket of it).
Welfare rates very high, social issues include domestic violence, rampant drug use and alcoholism.

Gift them our bases in Europe and leave them some military equipment. We did it for the Taliban, we can do it for the Danes. Then never allow our military to return to Europe unless it’s for conquest.

Trump will offer them a mineral deal. They will take it and let him put
however many military installations there that he wants to.
That’s all he wants and the media will never figure him out.

I am admittedly confused. Denmark claims Greenland as a territory, so does that mean they own it?
Doesn’t Greenland have the ability to vote if they want to remain a territory of Denmark? If so, Greenland can basically enter the transfer portal.
Why the frick would we pay Denmark? Naming rights to claim a territory?

You first need to know and understand, and you clearly aren't alone in this, that Greenlanders already have complete control over their natural resources wholly independent of Denmark.

Yep Congress will have to pull off something like the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANSCA). Followed by an ANILCA type law.
Claims need to be extinguished and compensation needs to be given in order to transition from one party to Feds.

Exactly.
Just bribe the residents.

Like a corporate buyout. Offer the voters, and let them decide
