Two recent additions to Netflix are worth checking out:

Death by Lightning (Limited series about the assassination of James Garfield)

Last Samurai Standing (Battle Royale in 1800s Japan, renewed for season 2)

I have this post bookmarked for just such an occasion probably need to go through and add some in the new year.

****working on ranking and adding some descriptions. bear with me team.*****

Mostly ranked by platform per my favorite working it's way down. I won't put anything I didn't like or bailed on, but I also won't put things that were really just garbage for the whole series.

Netflix
Bodyguard - Honestly the best thriller streaming series I've ever seen.
Stranger Things - speaks for itself
The Gentlemen - Very solid crime dark comedy
Dark - Strong Stranger things vibe and good through and through
Beef - good self contained story. super character driven and well acted.
Lincoln Lawyer - very decent crime comedy. nothing groundbreaking but very watchable
Nobody Wants This - you have to like a bit of chickflicky stuff to get into this, but it's great dialogue and romantic tension. At the end of things, I am only rooting for Sasha
The Recruit - A silly spy thriller but has some good laughs. Cancelled after S2, but honestly it was a fantastic finale
Night Agent - more serious spy thriller, but also a bit more eye rolling and self important.
Crown - kinda pretentious, but very well acted and a good depiction of most of the 20th century
Last Kingdom - long but great series, especially if you love History Series
11.22.63 (from Hulu though) - Stephen King time heist. One of the earlier streaming series that made acclaim that got shuffled here.
Love Death and Robots - Great for SyFi nerds in a little anthology series.
Altered Carbon (Season 1) - Great SciFi series, but stop at S1. If you want to remember this fondly, stop at S1 and pretend like there is no S2
Shadow and Bone - tweenager fantasy/thriller, but interesting enough
Locke and Key - tweenager fantasy/thriller, but interesting enough
Outer Banks - tweenager adventure/thriller, but interesting enough
Witcher (Season 1 and 2ish) - S1 is one of my favorite things ever, S2 was tolerable and I don't care after that.
Queen's Gambit - Great
Black Mirror - speaks for itself
GLOW - early early streaming series, but fun and well acted
Ozark - Well known crime series. Doesn't stick the landing, but solid all the way through
Cabinet of Curiosities - You got to like weird and GDT, but
Obliterated - enjoyable trashy action comedy.
Florida Man - enjoyable trashy crime dark comedy

Prime

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel - has it's ups and down but great dialogue and set pieces.
Carnival Row
Reacher - all a bit trashy and unbelievable, but highly watchable series to lose a weekend on.
Fleabag - you really really have to like english humor on this one, but it won tons of awards for a reason.
Outer Range
Terminal List (both seasons are different but good) - we don't get enough just solid action series like this.
Upload - I compare this to the Good Place which I don't love, but an off beat comedy about the afterlife
Expanse
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Invincible
Panic - Single season fun tweenager drama. Worth it just for a season
Expanse
Bosch - In the Lincoln Lawyer world. I don't like the second series, but it's still good for all of the original run. Not a fan of cop series but like this one.
Man in the High Castle - went way off the rails in the last season, but early streaming glory
Jack Ryan
Daisy Jones and the Six - basically a retelling of Fleetwood Mac, but done well
Citadel - trashy ridiculous action series.
The Boys - I will say that I hate this series and think it's grotesque, but I do truly understand the cultural phenomenon behind it.

Max

Mare of Easttown - Great self contained miniseries with a murder mystery
Big Little Lies (Season 1, just pretend Season 2 never happened)
Undoing - Decent murder mystery
Silicon Valley
Eastbound and Down
Banshee - trashy but awesome. If you like Rome or Spartacus, you'll love it.
Game of Thrones - Speaks for itself
House of Dragon - Worse than
Leftovers
Casual Vacancy
John Adams
Night Of
Leftovers
Mosaic
Sharp Objects
Chernobyl
Succession
Perry Mason
Deadwood
The Wire
Entourage
Tourist
Tokyo Vice
Flight Attendant
Gilded Age
Last of Us

Hulu
Shogun - best streaming series I've watched in 5 years
Paradise - walk in blind, great scifi dystopian thriller
Justified - oldie but a goodie. longer seasons than traditional streaming, but solid top to bottom
Only Murders in the Building - It has it's ups and downs, but 2/3 leads bring it every episode and there is always a chuckle to be had.
Nine Perfect Strangers
Death and other Details
Bear
DopeSick
Fleishman Is in Trouble
What we do in the Shadows
Fargo
The Old Man
The Americans
Thief
11.22.63
The Great - very silly, but Hoult gives a great performance

Alien:Earth

Apple+
Morning Show
See
Slow Horses
Mythic Quest
Severance - The show as a whole is smarter than it thinks it is but still is provoking
For All Mankind
Silo - Gets a bit dragged out and Losty, but still interesting. Ferguson is a good lead.
Your Friends and Neighbors

Starz
Missing
Black Sails
Spartacus
Outlander
Party Down
White Princess
Pillars of the Earth
Howard's End

Peacock
Twisted Metal
Poker Face
Day of the Jackal
Based on a True Story
Copenhagen Test

Paramount +

Yellowstone (YMMV)
1883
1923
Lioness
Halo
Mobland
Mayor of Kingstown
Yellowjackets
LandMan

I bookmark these lists every time you post them.

Back to OP, some shows on Netflix I haven't seen mentioned that I enjoy:
Blacklist
Turn: Washington Spies (Netflix just picked it up)
Spartacus
Warrior

If you're looking at Lincoln Lawyer, they are about to add S4 next month

You need to list just 3 to 5 favorites or at least give some comments RE what you like about the different series. That was an overabundance of options and people won't know where to start

although not on the networks you mentioned, it is able to be streamed for free on Tubi...it does have some ads every now and then but its not that bad.

Mr. Robot.

I have heard about this show since it first came out and always heard good things but never got around to watching it when it was streaming on Netflix or anything else.

But man, what an awesome show ! Watch at least the first episode and if you are not hooked then don't bother. But if it intrigues you then continue and you will be happy you did. I am so pissed I am late to the boat on this one.

Just watched Dept. Q on Netflix.
Only 1 season right now. It's pretty good.
