I'm going to be so furious when all our 2025 OL starters are markedly better playing for the competition...

Tyree Adams fixes his run blocking will be pretty good. He was solid in pass blocking.

He graded out at like 475 for tackles in the country. He is going to be arse even if he improves.

We all agree Brad Davis and our sc sucked, but to have guys not even crack the top 200 at a position is bad

The fact that all of them have landed at SEC programs and Brad Davis can’t get a job anywhere tells you everything you need to know about how teams viewed the situation

Anyone got any reported numbers? Crazy we don't ever hear what they actually sign for just what offers were supposedly on the table.

The A&M folks aren’t happy about signing Adams and Echols. They and everyone else are well aware of how bad we were on the OL last year.

I wish we could have held on to Tyree. In a terrible offensive scheme on a terrible offense in which the offensive line was the weakest link, he showed he could be somewhat stable at the LT. In a better system with better coaching and play calling, I think he could be a really good piece on an offensive line.

I don't think it's some huge loss, at least not at the moment, but it would've been nice to have him back. It sounds like after this staff evaluated the team, they set the price at what they were willing to pay certain players and the offensive line was probably going to take a big pay cut given the lack of production they had.

Unless Brad Davis is going with them they’ll probably flourish. No way they were all that bad yet signed with SEC teams. We shall see.

Inevitably some/1 of these OL transfers will end up pretty good, some will still be more average and some will still suck

Who is anyones best guess

But I doubt Mubenga or Chester are the ones who are pretty good

I dont know if I see Adams going into the "good" tier but definitely staying around average if he sticks at LT

Williams, Curne and Echols are the young guys who certainly have upside we saw some. Curne is a guy you really think could be on the "good" side down the road with his ability.

The bigger question is what made ALL of them jump to the portal?

Could be as simple as they loved Brad Davis and once he was let go they high-tailed it out of there.

But I wonder if something else was conveyed to them in their exit meetings. And if so, that's frustrating. These guys had no coaching - I would've liked to see how they could develop if given the opportunity.

They were all recruited by Davis and Davis probably got in their ear because he had sour grapes.
