The NCAA Football Transfer Portal's main winter window for 2024-2025 opened on Monday, December 9, 2024, to Saturday, December 28, 2024.

New Rule: The spring window (April) has been eliminated for football.
Championship Exception: A short 5-day window (Jan. 20-24) is available for players on teams playing in the national championship game.

I don't think I realized how many of the WRs were portal guys and only there for this year.
Eases my mind about turning over that part of the roster, because he clearly can find the guys that fit his system and get them going at a high level right away.

Captain, correct me if I'm wrong, but the 2 week window is for players to enter the portal. Teams can still sign guys from the portal after January 16, correct?

But I believe the last day to enroll for the Spring semester is Jan 22nd, so believe that’s the last chance to get the guy eligible to play at our school. We can’t forget that these are students (wink wink).
