Have annuals from my GP but considering going on my own to get more frequent checks for some things (testosterone, etc).

Due to a recommendation in another thread, I recently used Goodlabs. It was super easy and cheap. Their website was very user friendly when came to tracking your results as well.

privatemdlabs is my go-to. I believe if you use this link we both get $200 credit.

Why can't you ask your GP to put them on the list?

I order it myself. Let the medical assistance at work jab me.

I go to my GP yearly, but he recently retired so I am trying to find a GP that I like.
The place I work for allows us one wellness visit per year.
I have an appointment with a new GPs Nurse Practitioner.
Which ever way you go, make sure you request these tests as well:
*Homocysteine levels: helps to assess cardiovascular disease risk, diagnose vitamin B deficiencies (B6, B9, B12), and identify rare genetic conditions like homocystinuria, with high levels suggesting potential heart/stroke risk or vitamin lack.
* hsC-reactive protein (CRP): detects inflammation in the body, helping doctors diagnose infections (bacterial, fungal), monitor inflammatory or autoimmune diseases (like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, IBD), check for flare-ups after surgery, or assess cardiovascular risk by indicating arterial inflammation
The standard cholesterol panel is outdated and doesn't show the whole story. But trichlorides levels are very important indicator.
Request Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) : an advanced blood test that goes beyond standard lipid panels by directly counting and sizing cholesterol-carrying particles (VLDL, LDL, HDL) in your blood.
The size and density of cholesterol is a better indicator. The small dense particles burrow down into the inner lining of the arteries, which eventually rupture like a pimple and cause clotting, which can cause blockages leading to a heart attack, stroke or an embolism.
A few others that are very well worth requesting: A1C, C-Peptides, fasting insulin. Magnesium and phosphorus levels.
An EKG is still a very accurate indicator of heart health but there can be false readings. But overall, request it from your GP.

Function Health
Full blood panels
Advanced blood panels
Cancer screen through blood draws
Full Body MRI
Heart and Lung CT
Doctor’s notes post blood draws. Also does a great job of why that certain screen is important and why it matters if your results, in each category, are high or low.

I just used them in December. The entire process, their user friendly website, and their booking process at the local Quest Diagnostics was super easy.
I'll continue to use them based on the entire process and ease of use/booking.

Is this $365 a year including all the tests or is that the membership and you still have to pay for the tests? Looking at the tests included, $365 seems reasonable especially with it coming with a doctor's review
