Do our coaches work for Ole Miss for free while being paid by us?

I know it's been in flux week to week on whether they will go back for the next game. How does the money work? Are we the only ones paying them? Just curious

It’s a weird scenario. I would think we would have to pay OM for them not completing the season, but maybe post season is kind of outside of contractual obligations.

Prayers that Miami runs the ball into oblivion and wins the game with total clock control and O/D-Line dominance

One of the few times where the overused phrase of "getting cucked" applies on this board.

They are on LSU’s payroll.
LSU receives zero compensation from Ole Miss, and yet we have already paid Kiffin $500k in bonus for their two playoff wins!

Ridiculous!! We should charge them for Coach Weis calling their Offense!

My hope is OM loses to Miami, but scores 40 points in doing so. I want them to see there problem is there HC’s side of the ball.

So much wrong info and naiveté in this thread. You would think no one has ever heard of a CEO being hired away from one company and as part of their package for leaving, they get the expected bonus from the company they were working for. It's all part of the negotiation and it doesn't cost the average fan a cent.

Really think Kiffin should put his playoff bonus money that is paid by LSU back in the NIL pot for players. He don’t need the money anyway

So they collected their full salary for the year I guess, even though the contract finished and their employment participation seems to be up to them?

Pretty sure, Ole Miss is paying them for the playoff games in a seperate contract.

However, they also get bonuses from LSU with each win.
