Trending in right direction for #1 EDGE in portal. I like our chances here.
More to come in the coming days that will give us further information on if he plans to join Lane Kiffin & the Tigers for 2026.

Is he scheduled to.visit Columbus tho? Being an Ohio kid wonder how much that matters to him.

Not to my knowledge, at the moment.
Visited Ohio State during his HS recruitment, ultimately signed with Penn State over Ohio State.

My understanding is he was considered an Ohio State lean before he got in the portal and then afterwords it went straight to Tennessee and LSU

That is correct. Haven’t heard much from Tennessee camp the last 24-36 hours. (Since the first Nakos report that Tennessee was strongly in the mix)
I suppose that because he’s been here since last night.
Looking good early but will need to close it out here. I could see him visiting both Tennessee & Ohio State, but haven’t heard anything official yet.

one of those two is from an FSU writer with zero ties to him, the other was made on New Year's Day by an OSU writer. seems like it might've been based on old intel

We signed 3 edge guys last year. They were solid players but you got a combined 3 sacks from the 2 starters Pyburn and Payton.
You have to count on development of the guys you recruit. We have several younger edge defenders that we need to develop as depth. Instead of getting 3 edges this portal cycle, combine all those funds for 1 guy who can actually finish and get to the QB. Pair him with Reliford, and use the young guys as backups that rotate in and hopefully one of that group makes a jump.
Seems like Coleman has a lot of potential to be a guy who can finish as a pass rusher.

Lane took 30 transfers last year. I think LSU will be close to that number.

Certainly 25+, I’ve heard it could exceed 30.
Only took 14 from HS for 2026 class.
Have to think anyone on a visit or with genuine LSU smoke is more likely to come here than go elsewhere.
Can’t say much more than that for now.
