Update: are the others besides Smith going back to Ole Miss at some point? 247 says they all staying permanently except Weis. So I don’t know.

It’s confirmed they’re conforming with their contracts.

I don’t understand why LSU won’t pull the plug on Weiss, especially since Ole Miss is about to try to get LSU in trouble with the NCAA. This BS has gone on long enough.

Cuck chair cushion getting a work out.
Sorsby supposedly visiting tonight and no OC to help with recruiting is also a disappointment.

I can’t help but feel that when this is all said and done, LSU will be the one getting fricked and we will regret doing this big time.

frick that. Get Weiss back here now. This shite has gone on long enough.

I’m sure LSU doesn’t want to deal with it and this might be a way of preventing it. “Don’t file a claim and we’ll let you keep Weis”. If Ole Miss actually goes through with this tampering claim, I’m sure LSU would pull him immediately.

I would hope they’re not stupid enough to open themselves up to investigation given their history, but it is Ole Miss. No one has ever accused them of being intelligent.

Coach Frank and AT both join Ole Miss and tell them what players LSU is
taking. Thats where this tampering bullshite is coming from.

Based on things Weiss has said to reporters, It seems he has told LSU if he can’t finish the season with OM, he isn’t coming to LSU.. Yes he has signed a contract but starting a new relationship on a rocky road may not be the best path

I don't know if it's that simple. I think there's truth to Weis wanting to coach the playoffs and he may resist being forced to leave. I know, signed contract and all that and I'm not sure what leverage he really has, but not sure that friction is worth it.

If that’s true, then I won’t be surprised if he stays at Ole Miss. They would gladly buy out his contract to get back at us for stealing Kiffin. This is not going to end well for us.

The only coach that will actually give ole miss a significant chance of winning a natty is being allowed to stay there. Of course haha

Yeah the whole Weis thing is getting to be pretty annoying now.

And just leave the newly hired OC out of a position?

What do you call Kiffin and Weis in a room together? The Weis is silent...
What better draw than the OC who will coach Sorsby is coaching in the final four?

In favor of the guy who just helped them win a NC? frick yes they would. In a New York minute.

Then screw him. Move on with someone else. His loyalty lies with ole miss.

Agreed, I think in a perfect world you have our coaches cut ties and focus on our program 100% but I get it for him as well. No guarantees in life and a CFP run looks awful good on a resume. Just unfortunate all the way around.
Thanks for nothing UGA
