Your taxes are already being withhold by your employer.
In theory everyone could not file taxes therefore eliminating the possibility of owing the government more money.
But everyone knows this, right?

Got some bad news for you. The government already knows what you owe them based on data provided by your employer and other reportable transactions. The only question is do they care enough to single you out. Filing in April is mostly just "keeping honest people honest".
Trust me, you don't want to get sideways with IRS. At least not yet. They basically brought down Capone and many others when regular LEO couldn't make a criminal case.

I feel the same way but I'm too much of a coward to not pay taxes. I know the system is rigged and only a guy like me is going to get the hammer. Not paying taxes isn't going to accomplish anything more than extra grief and hardship for myself.

I agree with all her grievances.
However, the best way to fix it is for every voter to vote against incumbents.
Put whoever needs it in jail.

I can go to HR and tell them to put me down for 15 dependents and then not file.

You know you can block your federal withholdings from being withheld from your paycheck right?
Yes your employer will still submit your earnings on file to the gov, but you can 100% block your withholding. Then up to you if you choose not to file a return. I’m not recommending this, but the ability to do so is there.
