The question is, are you entertained?

I found the old form of college football far more entertaining. I don't play fantasy football, so maybe this new recruiting mayhem is not for me.

Hurry up, baseball season!

It should go back to transfer 1 time when you are a senior. That’s it.

It's nothing like fantasy football. I draft my team and don't pay them anything.

Thing about it is, even in the age of NIL, the players still choose the school they want to play for. Do all of them choose for the right reasons? No. But in the NFL, the team chooses the player 100% of the time. The player has almost no say. When you think about it, it is kind of cool and pure that despite all the shortcomings, and there are a lot, CFB in the NIL age it isn’t a true “fantasy football” situation because the students and their people ultimately still have the final decision on what helmet they’re going to wear unlike in the pros.

If it were true NIL like we thought 10 years ago and not a school's "NIL" then we could get back to true college football and not the bullshite that is going on now.

Nowhere in name image likeness does it say 1 year mercenary for whatever school, in fact it means the opposite

As a younger guy I used to enjoy getting to know players as they were Juniors and Seniors in HS and knowing they had given their pledge to play at LSU.

Now I wait for the season to start to see who is on the team.

Not even a little interested in the Pro aspect to the College game.

I'm starting to like the NFL more than college football. I'm cool with paying players, but this team hopping wild west stuff is complete garbage and making me lose interest.

Old CFB you would watch to see who developed and took the next step through hard work.

New CFB you just try to learn the names of all of the new players before they leave.

I think there are definitely changes that could make it better, but the short answer is yes, I’m still entertained. And the numbers would say that most people are as well.
