Worth whatever it takes to get him. Big position of need for us.
Would be nice to grab Lance Heard back from Tennessee to replace Tyree Adams at LT, since Tennessee was brought up.

Apparently this dude is supposed to be a 1st round type of talent. If true I wouldn’t mind putting in a lot of chips to get him

Must get for us. Screw Tennessee. Why would he go there with who LSU is going surround him with? LSU on paper right now has some potential elite guys on DL. I'm sure they'll get some DTs in portal too.

He would be a great get, but at some point we have to start building an offensive line. If we're paying 5 mill for a QB, 2+ mill to this kid, 2 mill to Lacy, plus Pickett, Green, Weeks, etc...going to be tough to rebuild the OL to a respectable place unless we find some diamonds in the rough.

Looked him up and he only played in 5 games with 1 sack and was #293 nationally out of HS last year. Just curious, why is he the #2 player in the portal?

I agree completely with this. We need someone on defense that wrecks shite.
We have some young guys, but we need a proven killer off the edge.
I'd pay this guy whatever UT is paying him, for sure.

But I don’t think the price is worth a hope. Maybe a contract that gets him to his number based off incentives.

Coleman is ranked as the #2 overall transfer, and the #5 overall transfer from both of the big transfer rankings.
Coleman barely put up any stats at all this season. 8 tackles, 3 TFL, and a sack. I then looked up his HS ranking to see if maybe he was a 5 star talent in HS, and that’s what was giving him a huge transfer rating. He was ranked around the 300th best player in the country coming out of HS.
So is this purely based on projection and measurables? Did he get injured early on in the season? I’ve heard great things about him, just was surprised to see his transfer ranking, in correlation to his HS ranking, and college production so far.

Bummed we are losing him. Kid is a future first-rounder and was going to be the next in the line of great edge's out of PSU. Super raw but after another offseason he's going to be a superstar.
