Our annual guys golf trip this year is heading to play the RTJT courses around Montgomery in early April. We'll get an AirBNB/VRBO rental somewhere in town.
What are some recommended restaurants and bars? We're all married dudes in our mid-40s, never been to Montgomery.
Thanks
ETA: we’ll probably stay in Auburn 1 night.

I don’t know Montgomery well enough to give you good suggestions. I would recommend finding a place nearer to the course in the Prattville area rather than staying in Montgomery.

Man, I got nothing. Thought one of the Aubs might post something.
Have been wanting to try this place but can’t vouch for it.

I’ll also throw out the Hank museum, Zelda Fitzgerald museum (probably not for a guys golf trip), and the First White House of the Confederacy.
Auburn had some good places to eat and okay bars. Acre is very good, but I have not been down there in a while.

I’ll add a Biscuits game if the weather is nice and they are in town.

I would avoid Montgomery altogether. Keep to Auburn or maybe a rental on lake Martin.

You're better off hanging out in Prattville or Auburn area.
Downtown Montgomery near the biscuits stadium has several restaurants. Other options are east side near Taylor Road area.

I know a State elected official who has to spend a decent amount of time there who sleeps (while in session) an hour north of town. (in Calera)
Auburn Opelika isn’t turrible.
