The ASAP Squatter Removal CEO, James Jacobs, removes squatters in Northern California
He has been in the business for seven years
Jacobs says the company first conducts surveillance to confirm squatters are on the property illegally
Then they perform what he calls a “breach and clear.”
Lease agreements with property owners allow his team to enter and remove squatters
The cost of using ASAP Squatter Removal to get a squatter off your property starts at $10,000

He is a living example of why people should never let their young children watch Steven Segal movies

All of this squatting shite should never be possible.
A. Who is the legal owner of the property.
B. Does the resident have a current lease/rental agreement that is not in arrears.
If the answer is no the police should come and handcuff them for trespass. The process shouldnt take more than a day.

My favorite is the counter-squatter who moves in and is a horrible roommate.

It’s just the dumbest shite. Property owners are paying the property tax and in return, the local government responsibility is to protect them. No other country have this BS besides the US.

Dumas calls them "tenants" or "overstayed"
They are neither as they weren't invited in.

What does it say about your state when squatting has become a big enough issue that people set up businesses to deal with it?

This is the correct answer.
If the proper authorities would do their jobs, property owners wouldn't have to pay someone to do what should be covered by taxes.
But state legislators love to pass laws favoring tenants at the expense of owners, 'cause, you know, populism.

For people “overstaying”, I agree. That’s usually a self created local law problem. However, it’s become a common scam for people to forge a lease and rent payment receipts. As soon as they flash those, law enforcement says “sounds like a civil dispute” and washes their hands of it. I’m not sure how you fix that quickly without accidentally breaking things.

Trannysquatter remover is the best remover.
Lord let me become a billionaire in 2026 so I can find squatted homes and pay ASAP to remove the scum on behalf of the owners.

Some people I know just got screwed by something similar. They found a house they wanted to lease, called the "agent" who proceeded to not only show the house with a key, but also signed the lease.
Well, this "agent" wasn't actually an agent nor did he have any legal connection to the house. They were out $4-5K after 1st month + deposit. Local PD is investigating.
