How do we lose almost entire OL and WR corp?

This is not normal. Will be a total rebuild for Kiffin. I’m sure he will do well in the portal, but we need to manage expectations for next year.

Portal =\= transfer
Luckily for us as fans, we have like 40 coaches and support staff to figure it out. And even luckier, we have a huge NIL budget.

Those two positions were always going to be our two with the most turnover. Lost both position coaches &OL was awful last year.
You’ll get multiple high value WR easily, you’re LSU & Kiffin. People want to play for you.
OL is the concern but I trust Kiffin’s talent eval. Getting James Cregg back is massive for OL, as well.

The OL played like arse and the WRs we’ve lost so far weren’t going to make the cut.

Ole Miss had 4 returning starters this past season and won 12 games.
If anyone can re-build in a season it’s Kiffin.
This isn’t 2020, LSU will sign 20+ players in the portal.

How do you know for sure we are losing these players? Have they officially left? You know this could be a negotiation tactic to get more money.

Players are leveraging LSU 30M$ to get a raise, watch how many return after new deals, too many coincidences of players who got bunch of PT jumping in portal

It is normal. When there’s a coaching change now in the portal era at least 20-30 kids end up in it.

CFB is moving towards more of an NFL style roster at least the teams ahead of the curve. The days of 15 plus O Lineman are going away.
