They made a system so bad, Republicans are right to stop subsidizing it. That will unfortunately lead to political pressure that will lead to government run healthcare. We are fricked

My ex-wife (lol) told me that she can’t find any ACA coverage for just herself less than $800/month.

Meh, that’s a pretty normal cost for coverage. If you don’t have employer subsidized coverage that’s what you’re paying.

That’s partially my point. ACA is useless.

Employer furnished health insurances helped cause inflated cost going back years…

Ok, are you suggesting that I turn down what is truly affordable health insurance because it is provided through, and partially paid for by my employer?

At least I’m responsible for my own healthcare. Go tell that story to the millions on Medicaid, and tell me how it has affected healthcare costs while you’re at it.

I’m not suggesting that, at all, in our current circumstances. I am suggesting that employer furnished health insurance inflated premium costs over time…

This is true because any time you remove the market/competition pressures from cost pressures you always have inflated costs..

Yet Grandfathered plans have lower premium increases over time when compared to ACA Plans... without exception!

Government intervention into anything causes inflates everything. Employer furnished has/had zero to do with it.
