Immediate arrest by Sargent at Arms? Who takes his place....does the filth get to elect another corrupt entity to protect them all and let them have time to hide things...?

How does this work?

I think this has a great chance of being true...so what happens if proven enough to make him step down.

I’m not sure, but if the Speaker steps down, I thought the House Majority Whip was next in line as interim, at least until a new Speaker can be elected.

I believe that is the case. Special election when he resigns.

A way to go on proof. But media is going to be hot on this one, not dismissive. If true (personally, I'm assuming so) it won't take long to make it through the attempted cover up to DOJ being forced to officially announce an investigation at which time he will step down.

Want to know the best irony of it all- the majority whip is Emmer, from MN!

And the majority leader is of course Scalise who will be sucked into Johnsons guilt (IF guilty) whether he is or not.

This will all but neuter the entire House R leadership.(which is reason, along with a decade long history of hoaxes, to give some pause)

You don’t find it the least bit suspicious that the Speaker of the House and the Leader of the Senate get FEC complaints on the same day, just as a multi-state systemic fraud operation is being uncovered?

I’m not saying they’re innocent. I’ve just seen this movie too many times.

But would anyone be able to tell?

It’s the old “tree falling in the forest” thing.

lol. That's exactly why I'm not bent out of shape.

My position on Congress, regardless of party, is that they are not a pillar of a representative government any longer but a patronge system in which they have become parasitic to the country. And by 'country' I mean it's citizens, not just 'residents'.

My knee jerk reaction is that the Democratic alternative is worse. But is it really? The only difference I see is one side (the Dems) is just more braggadocio about their disdain for citizens and the other (the R's) just more low key and hide behind MAGA, patriotism, principles, etc. Whatever cover is most handy at the time.

I’ve suspected he’s part of the fleecing of the taxpayer since he was onboard with the massive spending bill the Dems tried to sneak in early last year.

One of the following:
1. An example being made of the heads of both sides of Congress, as a warning.
2. The beginning of everything unravelling. I hope it’s this, but I bet it’s the other option.
