I don’t doubt the premise of the article, just that the target of it is a knowing conspirator in it. Of all the politicians, I’m gonna give Johnson the benefit of a doubt…. For now.

Why? The motherfricker has lied his arse off and stalled as much as he could since being elected speaker. We all know both sides are guilty of all sorts of malfeasance.

He and Thune are both compromised. There's a reason why a Republican majority Congress only passed 5 bills last year. They're "waiting out" Trump and planning to nominate another Establishment crony like a Bush or a Romney in 2028.
