Manning is a better QB today than Sayin is.

Schedules matter.

Manning had to improve his game and got the opportunity to improve it because of the competition he faced.

He turned into a decent quarterback.

Sayin never had to improve his game to win against the competition he faced, and it hurt his team in the end.

I refuse to believe. Billy in Houma told me that anybody watching Newman could see that Arch was a fraud.

Sayin looked like an innocent little lamb about to get devoured by the ferocious Miami DL.

Arch has taken a pounding all year and has been getting trashed constantly in the media...lots of pressure. But he has now pulled thorough and weathered the storm.

Arch has gotten over the hump...sayin on the other hand, has been exposed and needs to prove himself like Arch did bouncing back.

Like I said at the beginning of the year: Arch will be ok when it comes to dealing with the media and their bs. He has Eli to help him navigate that

I have a lot of respect for Arch. It takes more than a last name to be the starting QB at fricking Texas. I think people sometimes take for granted how competitive that role is. He’s done well if he never takes a snap in the NFL.I think he’s handled the expectations and his struggles well and has improved. I’m glad to see it.

As for Sayin, I think he physically looks more like a teenager than a grown man out there. He doesn’t have a mature presence. I’ve just always doubted him against teams that have some dudes on D that could put some pressure on him.

Miami has an sec type defense, if sayin played in the sec he would see at least 4 or 5 similar defense's this year . Osu would have probably lost 2 if not 3 games and he wouldn't have a 78 percent completion stat.

The sec is not great this year ,but to go through game after game against NFL level of DL's and DB's wears you out mentally and physically. Even teams like auburn and south Carolina who were at the bottom of the league has multiple DL's and DB's who will start in the NFL .
Playing in the big 10 gives you multiple off weeks to rest starters and pad stats.

If Billy said overhyped because of his name, he would have been right. A fraud was not right.

He needed some development, like most young QBs.

I mean both could be pretty rough. It’s not like Sayin lit the world in fire against anyone with a pulse.
