How did it get this out of hand. Team sports are over in college. It's the I-ME system. Kinda sucks. Think i will increase my fishing

Coaches and players have ALWAYS been in it for themselves.

For the players, they always picked a school based on who gave them the best opportunity to get on the field and tryout for the NFL. Now, on top of that, they are factoring in money. And that's totally fair. We'd all choose schools the same way. Just like coaches choose based on who pays the most.

The only thing that changed are the constructs.

Players should 100% get paid considering the money they are generating for the universities. The, essentially, unlimited transfer portal is dumb though and really fricks everything up.

You only care about this because we haven’t been winning. If we were playing tomorrow you wouldn’t give a shite and would be cheering just like everyone else

frick them players, right? NCAA built a billion dollar organization, universities have been making millions, coaches have been leveraging their own schools for better contracts, that’s where capitalism ends, because players are now doing the same.

EA Sports was using player numbers and likeness to make millions. Now they get some retribution and it’s the end of it all.

Problem is they’re only factoring money. Stop making excuses for this clown show. People like you only make it worse.

I miss the days when LSU players bled Purple & Gold. Now it's all about money!

Cry more.

You'd be doing the same thing if generational wealth was being thrown at you from different directions.

Jacob Hester has openly said he didn't like LSU until LSU came to in with a better playing time offering than Texas.

Stop acting like this is a new occurrence.

agree, but it's the inevitable result of NIL plus open transfer every year.

A great start at reigning it in would be limiting transfers. 2 might be realistic.

NIL mixed with the transfer portal as it ishas basically destroyed college football

This is bullshite. The universities use that money that these players “generate” goes back into investing in the sports programs and sometimes into the academic side.
10 years ago the talk was about these kids mostly being poor and needing spending money and something like a few hundred a month was proposed.

Now we have this crap. It’s one thing that the are getting paid this much, but they can also transfer whenever the hell they want to.

This is not sustainable.

Could you imagine the NFL with wide open unrestricted free agency every year?

That is what CFB is now.
