His mechanics suck and he is not even giving his receivers a chance late in the game.
Mechanics can be cleaned up though, he is definitely talented physically.

I wish I was as stupid as some of you. Maybe then I wouldn't get so tired of all the extremely dumb takes I see at work, on here and just during the day.
I literally just watched a video of how people don't allow QBs to develop anymore before tossing them away. This is a true freshman QB who is playing a bad offense, and now has an interim HC vs Texas. I don't expect him to be great. I expect flashes and game experience. This would be immense if he hits the portal. Would be my #1 option no questions asked. Even over Sorsby and Chambliss/Brown. I'd rather have a 2 year guy so we can have a legit championship run in year 2 of Kiffin than to cobble together a 9-3 season with 5 starting OL who have never played together before with zero experienced depth with a one and done QB.

Actually, I have watched them. He’s raw. Relies on athleticism too much. Doesn’t step up in pocket, which takes a lot of reps to get comfy at doing. Side arm and short arms it too much which leads to his inaccuracy. Would you like me to go on? But again, as I said, 18 yo freshman with limited coaching.

Arch has developed and he has always seemed like a great kid. So I’m glad for him. But I still stand by my opinion. He was the most overrated prospect I’ve ever seen if you go watch his High school film. And let’s not act like 1 game makes him the second coming of Steve Young. I feel like you’re being very over reactionary.

You get it. Idiots want everything and everyone to be a finished product and served on a plate for them. I said before I wonder what their opinions would have been on a guy like dante moore after his freshman yr at a bad program. As far as guys like Bryce lagway etc. I think they should take that kind of route and go develop. At some point in the future maybe we'll see guys turn down big nil vs going to a program that can develop them for the league at the
