My wife (no pics) and I are thinking of going to an away series. Currently the Vandy series has my interest.
Are there other series that might be more intriguing or a better location.
Going for baseball, food and drink but the Nashville music scene does add to that.
Any suggestions? Thanks Geaux Tigers

Tennessee would be cool. No clue why the dipshit schedule makers don’t have us in Fayetteville this year but if they did that would be the obvious choice

Personally, the whistler would deter me from a Vandy game. I'd likely end up in jail.

The “Whistler”.
Thank you for the reminder.

Nashville, unless the whistler is still alive. If so, then Knoxville and the Smokies.

Mabe wrong but isn't the Vandy park on the small'ish side? Mite be hard to get tickets. State's park is pretty big & the crowd is always crazy. But.....you're in Stark Vegas as far as any social life goes.

Problem with the whistler is it may drive my wife crazier than me.
I can see walking out after Game 1 and knowing Game 2 will be the same.
Starkville does intrigue me because Ive never been. Traveling for work Ive always been able to find a fun place to grab some drinks. Even in the small towns. We would fly into Jackson and drive..
Thanks again

Vandy tickets are expensive for a regular season SEC series. And it’s early March. So it’ll be cold.

1. Miss State
2. Tenn
3. UGA
4. Ole Miss
5. Vandy

I thought he passed away

Edit to say I hope I didn’t declare someone deceased that is very much alive. I do it all the time haha

There used to be two but I believe that one of them did pass away.

Tennessee

I'd go here. Beautiful area, good rivalry recently, and I've had fun with Tennessee fans. If you haven't been to Knoxville, try Calhouns.

That whistler is one of my “if I were a billionaire” things. I’d hire every natural noise maker on earth and have them at every home Vandy game. I’d make a damn mockery of the rules until someone at the NCAA made a rules change.

We are going to the miss state series. Should be a top 5 matchup. State is absolutely loaded

Yeah State is ridiculous. They basically combined two great teams into one with the new coach.

One team bad enough to get their national championship coach fired and another one that wasn’t even in shouting distance of an NCAA bid. great may be a bit of an exaggeration.

Ms State has the best stadium at the moment and the atmosphere is top notch. People hate on Starkville buts it cool little town. Athens is a great place, stadium sucks arse though.

they’ll be good but loaded is a stretch. O’Connor best player didn’t even come with him to state.
State fans are expecting multiple titles from him even though he’s only won 1 game in Omaha in 10 years. Now he’s got a way tougher conference to navigate through.
