Let’s not have threads saying Shough isn’t the guy, that Moore isn’t the guy we thought he was. Let’s just not do those threads Ok fellas?

Falcons have given some elite QBs some fits lately and aren’t a horrible team and outside of Penix, are still mostly healthy. Saints are not healthy. Yes we beat Carolina and Tampa short handed but we’re even more short handed NOW vs when we beat Carolina and Tampa.

As great as Shough has been, he’s due a bad game eventually. Even if we lose and Shough has a bad game, Shough and Moore can still be the future.

I want to lose a close game in a 30-27 type score.

Lock up pick #8 and the fourth place schedule.

I’ve seen enough to feel like we have the foundation with Shough, Banks, and Fuaga.

Draft a DE in round one to learn under Jordan for one more year.

You are overthinking this…..

Shough and Moore are the guys regardless what happens.

I’m not overthinking this at all. Did you just not read the OP? I’m telling the overreactive nuts on Saints Talk to not overreact and claim Shough and Moore aren’t the guys based on one loss to the Falcons at the end of the year when we’re so shorthanded

If Tampa loses on Saturday, then a win would make us 2nd in the division while a loss would make us 4th. A tampa win and a NO win would make us 3rd.

The difference between playing.

Finishing 2nd in the division has us playing:
Dallas
San Francisco
Chargers

Finishing 3rd in the division would have us playing:
Washington
Rams
Kansas City

Finishing 4th in the division would have us playing:
Giants
Arizona
Las Vegas

Finishing 4th not only gives us the 8th pick in the draft, it also gives us 3 pretty easy wins next year. As much as it would pain me to lose to Atlanta, that is some good incentive to lose.

Keeping the locker room as tight as it's been seems more important to me than next year's schedule and draft position. The coaches and players should play to win the game. If we lose doing that and it helps the cause next year, then that's great.

Would be the Raiders, Cardinals, and Giants. Three dysfunctional franchises that probably won't make a big leap next season.

Huge difference if we get third place. Then it's Chiefs, Commanders, and Rams/Niners.

Is it ok for Atlanta to get a lead and then choke the game away.
