What would happen if the USD was displaced as the global reserve currency?

I've heard everything from a collapse of the US economy and a global financial calamity to a relatively short period of chaos and then a return to some new level of economic and financial stability.
As a side discussion, what would happen if the US Congress passed a balanced budget amendment?
I think if this^^^^ happens gold, silver and other precious metals, along with crypto takes a significant hit.

It won’t be. Notice how other countries are now rich with US currency from remittances.

We could no longer print money and the MIC and welfare state would collapse. The massive amount of low IQs would become violent much like they exist in the third world.

The United States government would mount a propaganda campaign the likes of which we have never seen in an attempt to galvanzie support for a world war meant to reinstate our status as the world's reserve currency. It's the only thing keep our evil empire afloat.

We have to sensible, at some point the debt service of over $1 trillion annually is going to be unsustainable......that debt service is growing every year and it will soon be $2 trillion annually. The debt spiral is real.

Nothing. Look at the economy the last 10 years. It was supposed to crash to the highest gdp to massive inflation to rising gdp. We have so much trade and buying power the rest of the world needs us. BRICS does nothing now in regards to trade and China would crumble if we ever stopped trade.

I believe most of the foreign aid that we send to third world countries (that hasn’t been skimmed) is sitting in their respective treasuries to prop up their fragile economies and currencies…and forces the continuation of the petrodollar.

At some point there would have to be a general currency reset/revaluation of the USD and of various assets.

Maybe.
What is definitely happening is the USD is being devalued and the unsustainable debt service on US debt of $38 trillion (and growing) is going to be a extremely serious issue in the next 5-10 years. It appears the only solution is USD devaluation coupled with inflation.

It is devalued but that happens when every housewife has a brand new Yukon in the garage. A lot of Americans also overcharge a lot and pay a lot for unnecessary crap. Our consumer spending is insane but the machine is still grinding away as the market grows.

The US would become much poorer because we would be unable to continue the endless supply of cheap money. Our military would quickly become surpassed because we would be unable to afford it. A superpower would emerge and would call the shots on the world stage. They would not be in our favor. And if anyone thinks they haven’t been in our favor he is comically wrong.

I'm not saying today there is one, what I'm asking is what would happen if the USD were to be displaced as the global reserve currency?

If we ever thought we were going to lose it we would need to go to WW3. Before we did that we would need a lot of bodies, therefore we would have to bring in a mass immigration first, then start a massive patriotic propaganda campaign to increase recruitment and bring people together before the great war.

WW3
They would never allow that to happen.
Our military’s main function is enforcing economic domination.
They haven’t fought a war where American freedom was actually at stake since the Civil War.

Be careful. The folks on this board who claim not to be neocons will hate you for that, just like they do Tucker, Massie and Rand.
