When will the LDWF investigate those Ms River clubs/landowners on the Louisiana side?

It makes no sense to not look for violations on this side of the Ms river.

Why are you worried about "investigating" properties that you do not hunt, is not a public access area, and generally have more LDWF presence than any other properties in the state?
LDWF agents are on those properties constantly due to trespassing etc and also constantly monitoring those properties due to the CWD zone.
What exactly do you want them to "investigate?"

How about why Winter Quarters is the epicenter of CWD in Louisiana. More positive tests there than anywhere else in Louisiana. Why that place and that parish and not East Carroll or Madison?

I would imagine that is already being investigated - per the CWD taskforce or whatever the LWC named it.
Your post was vague as to "investigate," which is why i asked the question. I agree the CWD issue needs to be figured out - if it truly was brought in.

Why Winter Quarters…
A few reasons, but one is the membership let their deer herd get out of control

LDWF has been very involved at wq for awhile. If there was anything going on it would have long been sniffed out. Thanks for your concern

No. I just want to know why it's here, how did it get here, and why did it show up mostly on one section of land primarily in one parish?
Anything you or your friends know about it or are trying to hide?

Wish I hunted there but nope, I'm in the piney woods of ms.

Why is it anywhere?
The county next to Memphis is a hotbed of cases and it’s spread from that county. There are no high fence or low fence clubs around here. How did it show up?

Then why hasn't there been any statements to their findings?

Casual observations.
What if it was always there and we just weren't looking for it?
What if this is natures way of thinning out an over concentration of deer? There are more deer in the US than there have ever been relative to habitat. Maybe its just not a sustainable population.
But lets spend billions figuring it out and make hunting more regulated. That will help I'm sure.
BTW, deer farms are stupid.

Deer were found with CWD. What answer are you looking for? Maybe CWD comes from nature and there’s no one to blame for it.

Didn’t you start this same thread last year?

He really should be banned from starting threads.

All I'm wanting is accountability from the LDWF. What are they doing besides implementing cwd zones? Are they checking and enforcing the feeding bans in those areas? Are they doing more cwd testing in the outlying parishes like Lincoln, Union, Ouachita, etc. ?
The LDWF needs more transparency on what they are doing and what's going on with the general public. No one should have an issue with them doing that.
