Thoughts about that. I think he had seen enough of this nightmare

I like to think he was just being gracious enough to let Frank have his last hurrah without the distraction. But maybe I'm wrong

Lane was stealing the entire spotlight every second he was there.

Dude was swaying in the interview. He just wants to coach football.

I don't think Lane gives a frick about any of that.

With that said, hardly ever do the incoming coaches that are coaching the bowl game stay for the duration.

Kelly did the exact same thing. Media are making any issue they can that’s negative toward Lane. They know this LSU football team is about to become a juggernaut. And, they don’t like it.

We know, it's already been discussed. You're only 2 days late.

I don't care that Kiffin left, but I'm not sure saying "Kelly did the exact same thing" is a great counterpoint...

I think some people wanted him to stay the whole game. Again I don't think any of it matters, he could have stayed in BR for all I care. It's just obvious that it was a photo op. LSU fans shouldn't care. Ole Miss fans are upset because he has been pretty outspoken about them leaving games early. It is what it is.

To be fair, Wilson was coaching like the game was already over before it was. Last few minutes were a clinic in what not to do.

Given the two, it’s not Lane we should be upset with.

The only people talking about this shite are Ole Piss fans and media. No reason for any of us to even bring it up.

I’m friends with a few celebrities, crowds are a nightmare. People and selfies and signings, never let up.

I’m glad he was there for any time at all.

I think you are right, but I also think that Lane has been around the coaching community long enough to know what the sort of unwritten rules are regarding this type of situation. It is what is typically done out of respect. I do believe that had some impact on his decision.

He said he saw one play before his interview. Dude was on the phone with agents most of the game. Left to work even more. Been very surprise by his work ethic
