That changes the equation re the feasibility of eliminating federal income tax. We should all be demanding it at this point.

Now we know how many of these people can afford new Denalis, BMWs and Porsches

If they stopped the fraud overnight most luxury brands would go tits up in a year.

When it comes to estimations and predictions, i'd trust a person with downs over Elon Musk. His track record is probably the worst in history.

That makes him an expert on government spending how exactly?

He was tasked with finding waste and fraud and didn't find anything approaching 1.5 trillion annually

Do you think he did more than scratch the surface on that? Do you think there is possibly anything he could have extrapolated as to the overall picture from that surface scratching?

I'd say his government subsidies have given him much experience in how government is funded and how.

But my argument was more about taking advice from a Down's syndrome kid than Elon. But you know that, didn't you, you ignorant moron happy to butt in with a straw man!

He was uniquely positioned in his stint-- however brief-- in setting up and running DOGE to look at the books of at least a few government agencies.

There are undoubtedly people here and there with extensive knowledge about specific instances of waste and potential fraud within specific agencies / organizations / silos. It is highly doubtful that there are more than a handful of people in the world (who are relative outsiders and are not a part of the waste and fraud machine itself) who have had the top level access Musk has had across multiple agencies.

Any reason not to? Given his history with the current admin I'd say there is objectively more reason to believe him than not.

There's potentially $9 billion in fraud in Minnesota alone, which ranks No.22 in population.

The idea that this estimate is somehow out of the realm of possibility is laughable.

If you knew your rear from a hole in the ground, you'd already know who Tom Mueller was before clicking the link.

But you don't, just another boomer putting blind faith in Elon's lies.

It is amazing the people coming out of the woodwork to defend the rampant fraud being shown to them.
