Don’t forget the little caveat that LSU plays in the SEC…

LSU is about to be on coach #3 while Minnesota has been rowing the mediocrity boat

Average SOS for those teams during that time period:

LSU - 11.2

Minnesota - 44

To answer your question: no.

ETA: Tulane's sos was 62

Minnesota had a closer sos to a G5 team than to LSU.

Or that LSU played 8 more ranked opponents over that span. The put that at the bottom and only want you to look at a the percent of win/loss cs ranked. Not the fact that LSU played a much harder schedule than they did - and still has a better record than them.

Let’s add a column for money spent on coaches to achieve these stats

Only if you're stupid enough to think LSU has been doing well the last 5 years.

They are a solid Big 10 program, nothing to scoff at.

Arkansas paid Sam Pittman more than Minnesota paid PJ Fleck.

And they still couldn’t catch a flyball to left.

We are all so impressed.

Seemingly every year teams like South Carolina and Florida start the season in the top 15 for some reason despite being complete dogsht as of late. Pretty easy to make inflate the SoS that way.

True… also true Florida and South Carolina would finish no less than fourth or fifth in the Big10 every year… hell both would probably win it some years…

I hate BK for this reason more than anything… giving a Minnesota fan the gall to have a back and forth about football with a 4x (5 really) National Champion Louisiana State University Fighting Tiger fan

I don't think they have been underrated, but LSU begins the season higher ranked in the AP polls and tends to get the benefit of the doubt more in losses and thus stays in the polls longer.

I do think that LSU has underperformed, but expectations are a little bit different. Minnesota wants to make the playoffs, and there are members of the media and fans in Minnesota who think Fleck is more of a gimmick, but he's less likely to get fired after going 7-5.

lol. The big ten has won the last two national titles, while the SEC hasn’t even sent a team to the game. 3 of the top 5 teams this year are Big Ten teams.

South Carolina has 5 consensus All Americans … EVER, and their program has never been invited to play in a major bowl game, but they would finish no worse than 4-5 every year and would win it some years? Lol.

You boys are hilariously committed to the SEC being great at all things, in your minds.
