So they’re gonna kill off Professor X a fourth time and then also Magneto?
I’m guessing this is going to be a different variant of Cyclops where he didn’t die by Jean Grey / Phoenix.

they already kinda retconned that in one of the recent X-Men movies. I wanna say in Days of Future Past.
X-Men kinda has its own little cinematic multiverse going on.

First Class wasn't terrible, but then things went off the rails a bit for me. I didn't even see the last Sophie Turner / Jean Grey movie. Dork Phoenix?

Days of Future Past is probably the best X-men movie. X2 is elite but much more of a contained story. DOFP is more fun.

Apocalypse was shite. Wasted both Apocalypse *and* Psylocke. And no one even saw Dark Phoenix.
For a series that has as many fantastic stories as XMen, it's a shame we've only gotten a handful of decent movies. X1, X2, The Wolverine, Logan, and DOFP are the only ones worth watching.

Plenty would disagree. I think DoFP is better than 10 of the movies you listed. Most people, including me, consider Thor to be a pretty crummy movie.

Anyone who says DoFP is worse than X-Men: The Last Stand has literally never seen a movie. I won't accept otherwise.
