They sucked and we had a lot of pussies that didn't play. They had more reason not to play when they weren't already getting paid significantly.

You pull seven starters off of any defense and it isn't going to look pretty.

Penalties were killer too.

I agree that’s a problem. Maybe people will stop saying “next man up” all the time. You can only suffer so much attrition.

Ever think there should be some kind of financial penalty for players who opt out of playing for non-medical reasons? They get a free ride for everything and make plenty money, so shouldn't they have to forfeit or pay back some of that money? Just asking...
