I’ll take Barry Sanders on offense and N. Suh on defense if we’re talking career. Tebow honorable mention for career.
Cam Newton and Joe Burrow have to be up there for a single season.

Paul Crewe. Best I ever saw in college, the NFL, or the penal league.

Y’all can argue over the best in the last 25 years.

Well, if judging by accolades it would have to be Archie Griffin.

For career, Tebow.

Barry Sanders is the correct answer. No other answer comes close including Griffith.
This is not about a popularity contest.

Best I've ever seen is Reggie Bush. Not a fan then or now but the guy was must watch TV at USC. Amongst all those kids Carroll assembled there, he stood out. Fresno St will forever have a story to tell.

For a season? Joe Burrow
For a career? Tim Tebow
For a game? Cam Newton

One could argue Hershel Walker deserved three Heismans. For a career, it could also be Tebow.
For a season, probably Barry and Burrow would make a very short list.

I will always say someone that can throw and run is the best player in most of these discussions personally.
Would also add in the body of work, and also being good more than one really good year.
Tim Tebow would be my guy.
