Christmas Eve found President Donald Trump in good humor, sitting in his Mar-a-Lago home and chatting with children on the phone about Santa Claus’ whereabouts as NORAD tracked his sleigh.

“Nice, right?” he told reporters after taking a call. “Could do this all day long.”

The festive mood soured later in the day when Trump delivered a Christmas message that included a taunt aimed at “Radical Left Scum,” who, he wrote, are bent on destroying the country.

After midnight, the holiday spirit took another partisan political turn. The president posted or reposted more than 100 times on his Truth Social website, in many cases amplifying messages disparaging perceived political foes.

As Christmas Day broke, the president made clear he is still captivated by his loss to Joe Biden in 2020.

He reposted one message that called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to ensure “accountability” by prosecuting former Democratic President Barack Obama over the election.

He also shared a video from Colton Moore, a Georgia state senator running for the congressional seat being vacated by Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“You know, Donald Trump was right the entire time,” Moore said in the video. “The election in 2020 was stolen.” He went on to say that “people need to be arrested and tried for treason — a lot of them.”

No evidence has emerged of wrongdoing on a scale that would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election, though Trump said in June he wants a special prosecutor to investigate what happened.

With more than 11 million followers on Truth Social, Trump reposted messages involving familiar foils. Some called for getting rid of the Affordable Care Act, signed into law by Obama 15 years ago (last week, the Republican-led House and Senate left town for the new year without a health care deal that will prevent insurance premiums from rising for millions of Americans).

In his feed, Trump drew attention to a post depicting California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a potential Democratic candidate in the 2028 presidential race, as a socialist.

He didn’t lose to Biden.

He lost to "clerical errors", technical difficulties, covid policies, democratic toadies and shitty judges

wow - this is a blatant bald faced lie

The whole article is full of lies

“Perceived foes” - cute

The evidence that the 2020 election was stolen is overwhelming and at this point, indisputable

Something is wrong with you - you are either a liar or just plain stupid

You know.. the only thing that I am happy about is that the overwhelming proof of the election fraud that was committed in places like GA or AZ is coming to light and will make it very hard in the future for stuff like this to occurr. I am also happy because if we had Trump in 2020 he would not have been this effective, nor would we have both houses in Congress IMO. Not that having both houses in 2020 would have made much more of a difference than it does now because they still don't really get anything done. But a 2024 Trump really learned a lot from his first term, had time to think about how DC works and was ready to hit the ground running more than he would have been in 2020.

It also proved just how incompetent Biden was with his mental decline and showed the democrats just how much they should never be allowed to obtain power again at that level.

We need to start a “weight watch” and have a horse race with a couple of these younger democratic women.

Early odds on favorite is Jasmine Crockett. She’s like Lattimer in The Program over one summer but the complete opposite

This right here is why Trump will never be taken seriously. Isn’t it even remotely possible that the country said enough the first time around?
Trump fatigue is real (you are already seeing it less than one year into term 2) but orange Ozymandius can’t believe he isn’t King Midas, Prince Charming, and Napoleon rolled into one person.
Bad enough he is so insecure, but please don’t feed his nonsense.

That's your takeaway?

He lost for a myriad of reasons... many of which were very unique to that exact election.

My favorite?

Remember when no one could visit nursing homes and assisted living to see their loved ones?

Guess who got access to your loved ones when you couldn't? Ballot harvesters, that's who. The constitutional right to vote was more important than the disease protocols that kept YOU from visiting grandma.

They used to say, "no evidence has emerged".

Now they say, "no evidence has emerged . . . that would have".

Slowly trending in the right direction.

Yeah, that's my takeaway. When you know your opposition has a better ground game you had better watch them. They went into Grand Rapids and flipped Michigan. They used Republican rules in AZ against Republicans. They tell you they are targeting Georgia....and then execute on their target.

His team did not pay attention to the game.....and lost.

Oh, you mean by changing rules on voting? Expanding curb side, harvesting, mail in, absentee, etc...?

They WERE watched... it WAS exposed... it was roundly ignored by the different states, courts, etc... then those efforts were PROSECUTED.

Georgia, at least, was seemingly on board with figuring shite out until Kemp's daughter's boyfriend's "untimely accident".

They used covid for all kinds of unholy cover. This wasn't a regular election where one side outworked the other.
