May the Birth if the one and only true God, Jesus Christ, bestow a blessing of grace and peace upon your household, to the belittlement of every other false religion, Amen

The first Dies Natalis Solis Invicti (birthday of the unconquerable Sun) was Dec 25, 274CE. The first documented case of Christians celebrating Natale Domini (birthday of our Lord) on Dec 25 was in 334CE.
People back then were going to celebrate on or around Dec 25 for the rebirth of the sun, as this is the approximate date for the winter solstice, when the sun is made low and is at its lowest point in the sky for three days and then begins to rise again. They celebrated this day for thousands of years. The Christians (and sects of Jews) made it a habit to co-opt holidays.
Just look at Yom Kippur - the day of atonement. The mainstream Jerusalem based sect of Judaism essentially replaced Yom Kippur with the Passover. Then in the gospels, that sect of Jews (which became Christians) replaced the Passover with the Day of Atonement in which Jesus (the one called Christ) was the goat sacrificed as Yahweh while the other Jesus (son of the Father… bar abbas) was released to carry away the sins of Israel. Of course, the Christians changed the name of that day to “Pesach” (what we call Easter in English) but it’s the same word used by Jews today as the Passover.
