it was a lot like Christmas Eve at Nick’s except no fat black dude cranking out boogie woogie and a lot fewer people enjoying themselves

She’s so great in that movie, except when she can’t handle him having a breakdown and says “oh George, why don’t you…” and then just lets him walk out to do God knows what with himself.
She should have overcome those feelings and fought him not to go.
But nobody’s perfect, and of course she came through in the end.
