What’s the OT doing on this warm Christmas Eve compared to decades of the past?

Completed final trip to the grocery. Unload groceries. Set out snacks. Take a nap. Traditional dinner this evening with friends and spirits. Finished most of wrapping so should not be up too late tonight.
Now compared to a couple of decades ago, I would be just waking up, doing nothing, then hitting the bars of uptown NOLA tonight.

Playing corn hole and other outside games today. About 15 people coming over.
Will have two boatbloads of us fishing for atripers on Lake Tecoma on the 26th and then doing a big fish fry that evening.

We won't get skunked. Might not get a li.it of 10 per person, but we'll fill up a good box. I have a bunch in the freezer with the red meat already cur out if we need to supplement the catch.

We’ve done a number of these over the years. I’ve gone as Santa in Christmas Vacation, also Uncle Eddie. I’ve gone as an escaped prisoner. I’ve gone as Joe Biden. They have the best theme parties. I had a Mardi Gras party, I went as a Biker!
This year, I’m one of the guys trying to rob the house.
