A Karen got mad because a 6 yo was splashing water ant her kid and dunked the kid under water for several seconds. Then she went off on the kids parents. What would you do?

She’s perfect. Don’t need fixing.

That is incorrect. Some...cultures don't do ANY discipline of their children, for example. What IS never ok is to drown a child, though. Woman needs to be waterboarded. The kid splashed her kid, even if ridiculously. Kid might need a smack from his parents, not drowning.

He held him under so long his nose was bleeding when he came up. She needs to be in jail.

Where was the other kids parents during the splashing? A 6 y.o. should have parents watching them.
Probably on their phone

No way a "few seconds" dunk caused a nosebleed.

That said, you don't submerge children, especially young ones that don't belong to you, under water for any length of time.

After watching this video and hearing what the dad says, maybe this woman ain’t as bad as what I was thinking
Says their son is non verbal autistic and that the other boy kept putting their son under the water. They were looking around and wondering where are this kids parents and why aren’t they doing anything? So the mom jumped in and splashed the kid back. Held the boy under water for 2-4 seconds. It’s still wrong, but I can see why she was fuming mad

Still wrong of her to do that, she should have removed her child from the situation. Someone touches my kids and their getting their arse kicked it's that simple

Was probably a pretty tame incident if I had to guess, you can't really believe the media or the other parents account at face value, they clearly left stuff out to sensationalize

However putting your hands on someone else's kid is pretty much never a good idea, just nothing good can ever come from it. You're almost always gonna be viewed as the bad guy no matter what the details were.

Kids having bad interactions with each other is guaranteed and as a parent you need to have a plan to respond that doesn't involve going to jail.

“If she touched that child, that was wrong,” NeJame – who is not involved in the case – said, according to News 6. “You don’t take the law into your own hands and teach that kid a lesson. It’s illegal, you don’t touch anybody without their consent, in a manner that is intended to cause some measure of harm.”

This lady seems like she went insane, but the above quote is the problem with society.
