Didn’t Moffitt just get his shite kicked in by Miami?
Once again, the game has passed him by

the tommy Moffet who coached the A&M team that scored 3 points on an ACC team that didn’t make the conference championship?

My man you need to keep up. LSU already has their man. Has had him since the day Kiffin was hired. And Moffet isn’t this elite strength coach that a lot of LSU fans wants to think he still is anymore. If you remember most LSU fans wanting him gone at the end of his tenure at LSU. Miami just pushed A&Ms shite in. Also you can’t judge how they looked against LSU because LSU had a pussy as a strength coach and it rubbed off on the players. Soft as baby shite. Every team looked more physical than LSU did.

Let's not pretend pretty much everyone was saying Tommy needed to go at LSU at the end of both Miles tenure and especially Orgeron.

Perfect example of someone that pays absolutely zero attention to sports but still runs his yapper

So Texas A&M pushed us around with Moffitt as their coach. And Alabama pushed us around with Moffitt as our coach? Just maybe,.. Moffitt isn't the difference maker for our team some people think he is...)

The difference is the coaches. Some coordinators, but mostly head coach and position coaches. They are the guys that 'inspire' players (within the limits of the rules, wink wink) to go to voluntary workouts. And it is those coaches, in coordination with S&C, that hold players accountable for not putting the effort in the gym and track. This includes offseason routines and in-season (which are very different). But if the position coaches are letting them have the offseason off, it's their job to change that or bench them.

When the head man doesn’t care it rubs off on everyone.
Tone is set from the top down.
So when Flint knew his boss didn’t care; his job became MUCH harder. Even if he’s an awesome S&C guy. Once the players were fully aware that Kelly wasn’t “all in”; neither were they. Regardless of how much NIL they’re getting.
So I have a small amount of grace for Flint; but a change was needed.
Having a HC who cares and is in the building will be a huge difference outside of X&O’s.

There is definitely a trickle down effect from the HC to the other coaches, then to the players.
It's like a disease, once it is in the system it is very hard to get rid of. So that's why Flint, even if he is blameless, had to go.
We saw the same change during Les' tenure. As time went on it got more and more lax and it was reflected, in my opinion, in the OL and DL. Now it wasn't atrocious under Les, don't get me wrong. But we all saw a big difference from his early years and his later.
That's that trickle down effect as he got older and more complacent in his job overall.

oh you mean like in 2020 and 2021? like what tommy was dealing with then? you know when he was going to O and complaining about players not showing up to workouts, not following nutrition and was told essentially stay in your lane? or was it when O started acting like he knew more about S&C than tommy?
i find it hilarious that people think Tommy isnt still a great strength coach and Im not even a huge fan of everything he does. and he will be the first to tell you that he is a much better coach now after the lay off than he was in his final years at lsu.
but in the end, your S&C coach can only do so much. I dont blame Flint for some of the things, especially not allowing former players around....that was pussy arse BK.
and we need to move on from TM, he is getting way up there in age and will be retiring within 5 years anyways more than likely.

Aggies got whipped in trenches on both sides by the U

no they didnt. Their O line got whipped. their dline held the U to well under 100 yards rushing going into the 4th quarter. they lost their best dlineman at the start of the 4th and miami ran right at where that guy was.
other times they ran outside and it was a bad play call.
if you are going to talk shite....at least know wtf you are talking about
and again....every bad performance is suddenly on the S&C coach?
let me ask...is A&M bigger, stronger, faster than they were before TM?
literally you understand that all the S&C coach can do is tracking using gps and lasers for speed and adjust from there....he can only track jumps using lasers and mats...adjust programming from there.....can only track strength/power with vbt & force plates and adjust programming from there.....can only track soft tissue injuries & fatigue and suggest changes in practice to the coaches
he cant....fix scheme, cant fix technique, cant fix bad play calls
everyone one of you fat fricks sounds stupid AF when you say something like this.

Couldn't agree more. Moffett was great in his heyday. I don't necessarily agree with the manner in which he was let go, but I was fine with them cutting bait.
Our teams had gotten so soft in 2020 and 2021, getting bullied on both lines of scrimmage with constant injuries, and I still have no problem that he is no longer our S&C coach.
He had been here so long that I think sometimes your message can get stale, and it's hard to keep that up year in and year out.
Think he needed a new challenge and a new chance of scenery.
Also, A&M had one of the softest conference schedules of all time this year and looks like both of Moffett's squads this year and last year have fallen apart when the going gets tough at the end of the year (losing their last 2 games this year and 4 of their last 5 games last year)
