Al-Qaeda Terrorist Convicted for Planning to Replicate 9/11 Style Attack in Atlanta

Cholo Abdi Abdullah, an al-Shabaab operative, was sentenced after a jury convicted him in November of conspiring to carry out a 9/11-style terrorist attack targeting the United States. Prosecutors said Abdullah intended to crash a commercial airliner into the Bank of America Plaza building in Atlanta as part of the plot.
Abdullah was convicted of multiple federal charges, including conspiring to provide and providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, conspiring to murder U.S. nationals, commit aircraft piracy, destroy aircraft and carry out acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries.
Search history revealed by the United States Department of Justice shows that Abdullah accelerated his attack planning by researching "Delta flights" and the "Tallest building in Atlanta" to focus on the Bank of America Plaza -- also known as the pencil building -- which is a 55-story building that stands 1,023 feet tall in Atlanta, which was apart of the website he visited in his research.

What racist judge sentenced him to that sentence?? He’s just misunderstood. He had a bad childhood. He needs more creative outlets. How will he finish his medical degree?? It’s not his fault!!!!!

There are much easier ways to kill people than hijacking a plane since 9/11. Not sure why the goatfrickers love trying that.

That's a big portion of it for sure. But also consider the fact that flying for travel in the US has become an unquestionable pain in the arse since all the DHS/TSA restrictions and screenings have become the norm. Passengers can finally (after twenty years) wear their shoes through the screening process, but the scanning is still ridiculous. Take off your belt and put it in the box. Take off your cell phone and put it in the box. Put your keys and wallet in the box. YOUR POCKETSSS! ZEY MUST BE EMPTY WHEN YOU GO THROUGH ZEE LINE!
