Back working for the man a couple of days before hitting the woods again next weekend. After yesterday, I need to add an extra gun like .257. I was hunting my favorite stand that looks up and down the main road. Sure as shite, I’m swiveled right and came back left and watched the rack disappearing in the woods.

And to add insult to injury, as I’m driving back to BR, the 6pt cull and the big doe I’ve only seen nocturnally both chowed down for 30+ minutes under the feeder for that stand from 4:45 until nearly dark. How do they know?

Hope you guys getcha one today. Feels like the early teal season weather.

Hanging in the saddle 20’ up
Hoyt tipped with G5 T2’s

Had an 8pt at 25 yards before 7:00, saw me reach for my bow and spooked. Action should be heating up in the next two weeks here.

Sitting on the porch trying to decide where to go and if I even want to go. I keep telling myself that there’s a chance that a doe is in heat and if I was a buck that knew it was gonna be 345 days till I got a piece of azz that mosquitos and 85 degrees wouldn’t hold me back.
Stay strong !!

Warm, slight breeze
Lock between two hardwood bottoms
Lift X
Easton Axis with QAD

Saw a young buck and doe this morning. Had a doe from behind me across the creek blow at me. Wind was going straight that way.
Found a place further north to get back across the creek and climb. Super thick and full of bedding. May go climb it during lunch and see what I can actually see.
