That's 29 points in 23 minutes off the bench, plus 7 boards. I'd call that a game.

He'll be back once Pels start losing again. He is such a ridiculous clown. He has many alters on here as well but will deny as usual.

I hope we are shopping Zion now while he is playing. Don’t wait for the next injury.

McNamara has been beating the drum on two things:

Zion should come off the bench
Zion should be moved for whatever bigs they can get or waived before his contract guarantees

I’m pretty sure he’s right on both counts

Wait are we all not an agreement that Zion should go? Does it really take just a handful of games of winning for some of you to be like “you know what let’s run it back for the 7th time and maybe it’ll be different”.

He played very well. I would entertain keeping as a 6th man. Especially with the effort he put in tonight. He might thrive not being the man.

We are probably not moving anybody until late January. we will get to see a good sample size of 6th man Zion.

I promise you it’s not. Still a play-in team at best. Most competent franchises know that’s not good enough. We need to start a rebuild and build around our rookies through the draft and trade acquisitions (picks, young players) for the guys who haven’t been able to win here.

Keeping him for how long? Nothing changed if you factor in his contract. Are the Pels going to pay a 1-dimensional 6th man $42M and $44M the next couple seasons? I don't think so. That's insane.

What the frick? Absolutely yes he should go. This is how you build max value to get rid of him. Less than 30 minutes of efficient ball killing 2nd teams. Some dumbass team is going to give up 2 firsts and a starter and we can all rejoice.

If Zion is traded I wonder if we could grab more shooting. I still think that’s going to be the area where the Pels will have some trouble with better teams. I saw someone mention trading him for a center, if that center can step out to the 3 line I’d be for that, but I don’t know how many of those would be available for Zion trade.

We really can’t move anyone until Herb is available to be traded assuming we want a star and picks back.

31m for DJM might not fetch much.
I think Missi plus DJM could allow you to bring back close to 40m in whatever.

Great game from Triple Single Street Clothes.

Unfortunately, we've all seen this movie so many times before...

It’s different because Willie is gone and Borrego is competent.

I’m not desperate to move him for anything/cut him if nothing is on the table. Hard to speak on this from the sidelines when we don’t know the offers that are out there. Of course move him for a good deal though.

Dumars vision was for this to be a deep team. The cancer in Willie is gone and we are starting to get healthy. Let’s see his vision through for a bit. I also view Zion different from others. I understand with his salary that the expectation is for him to be a star. He’s just not that player. The cutting him should only come into play if luxury cap demands come into play from management.

Hell no! No offense- but that is dumb thinking.

Trade him ASAP- while he is healthy, and especially if he is putting up good numbers off
The bench.

Don’t wait until he gets hurt or starts being lazy again

Kinda different isn't good enough.

What has hampered this franchise since the day we landed AD was that it was always afraid to do a full rebuild. It's always half measures and it's why we've been in NBA purgatory forever.

We have Queen and Fears... that's your starting point. Burn everything else up and begin anew.

We are not in a win-now position despite what our POBO thinks... not even close to it. The only way to make drastic moves up is to bottom out first.

We traded AD to the Lakers on June 2019... OKC traded George to the Clippers a month later.

We took our haul and tried to make win-now moves with it. OKC sat on their haul and didn't panic when they had a couple of bad seasons. A couple of years later, they beat the frick out of us in the play-in, then donkey-punched us in the first round, then won an NBA title and are in the midst of one of the best seasons of all-time. Meanwhile, we are still in a similar spot to where we were the day we traded AD.

Let that sink in, a team in a market smaller than ours that only exists because of us has double lapped us despite being on a similar timeline as us.

Sure... OKC got lucky in some spots and we got unlucky in other spots, but part of their luck was created because they saw through a full-on rebuild. We refused to do that out of hubris and/or ignorance in thinking our roster has always been better than it actually is.
