Memories. Back when O could still move the muscles in his forehead!

Hiring Lucas was not any kind of denouement.
If Kiffin was going to hire O, he would have done it a long time ago.
Now, the big boosters did put their foot down that they wanted Orgeron nowhere near this program. But even had they not, Kiffin had no intention of hiring O.
That “Kiffin and O are big buddies!” was another false narrative that morons on this board took and ran with. I’m not saying they are enemies—but they are not close enough friends where Kiffin wants O on his staff.

If Orgeron really wanted to coach again, he should have started before everyone knew his last check was coming.
Now he's gonna have to prove himself all over again on a juco or D2 salary.

Correct.

Anyone who read the investigation report LSU released when they hired that firm to self investigate the program knew this would be the case. Then add in the public mishaps (sissy blue shirts), the whoring, the plot & actions to push out Miles, mismanagement of the roster & overall general laziness on the job his last few years, there was no way Coach O would ever be allowed to coach again for LSU in any fashion.

Those same morons don't pay attention to or lack the knowledge of the incidents I just mentioned. All they know or hear is that O is a great recruiter & he was the face of the program during the 2019 season so they assumed it would be a great idea to bring him back.
Truth be told, Coach O character equals out all the positives that he may accomplish in a short time at any coaching stay. He's a meathead & a cancer who will eventually wreck a program from the inside out. The big money boosters got a taste of that first hand & have said never again.

He's actually been publicly whoring for a job since the start of this college football season. He just hasn't gotten much action. His past has finally caught up to him & he has no one to blame but himself.

Lane could want to hire him all he wants. But ain’t no way in hell LSU will ever let that idiot near the program again. Not a snowballs chance in hell.
He’ll just have to keep begging for a job and going on fake interviews.
