and has been for quite a few years....but to pretty minimal acclaim.

These Rams are elite in all phases. only way they don't reach the Super Bowl is weird playoff stuff to happen to them.....Which is always possible....but they won't be playing in the cold...

Good football team to watch

I don’t know about best. He’s up there, for sure, but Mike Tomlin seems to have winning seasons no matter how bad his team is, how injured, rebuild, what have you.

I think I would too but KS has an argument.

It's not like the 49ers haven't been amazing lately as well, with worse injury luck

And I dont disagree. The "lmao" is more towards the framing/tone of "not even the best in his division"

Outside of his first 2 years inheriting a garbage roster, the remaining 6 Shanahan seasons have been either one of:

A) SF is the most injured team in the league (2020, 2024)
B) SF makes at least the NFC Championship (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023)

That's a level of consistency that has no better. Certainly not matched by McVay.

That isn’t always the best thing in the overall context of the franchise… sometimes you need those good draft picks

Only way they don’t reach the superbowl is if they lose in the playoffs before the Super Bowl. Got it.

Both hamstring themselves with some of the more conservative views on 4th down and game strategy
