I think the success of of independent offerings like Cocomelon, Baby Shark has probably shown Disney that they are not going to win competitions with genuinely creative platforms in an era when they seem incapable of providing any and just lean more and more on leveraging existing IP in increasingly less appealing ways.

I've said it before, but there's a TON of anti-Christian bigotry in Hollywood. Disney, Paramount, Netflix, etc.
Hollywood just needs to die. And Christians can make that happen by simply not supporting them. I dont.
PS - Sadly, this is much worse than just Hollywood. I was watching an interview with a pastor from Canada, and he was talking about what they are being subjected to right now. He mentioned one situation where a man protested a transvestite being allowed to spend time with young children (at a library, I believe). Just because this man spoke out against it, the government charged him with "criminal harassment." That man is currently spending one year under house arrest.

Christian's trace Jesus' lineage back to David. He was called the son of David many times in the Bible. So David, being a Jewish hero, is massively influential on Christianity due to God's covenant with him. David provided Christianity their Messianic fulfillment.

Pretty much every theater is showing this, with lots of show times. Where's the proof that Disney is doing this, or was this just some random rumor started?

They must not be having much success. I checked theaters in multiple cities and it is showing at all joints owned by different companies.
