I love Tua, but the Dolphins did the right thing.

Tua is probably the best example of what a good person leading your team looks like outside of Tim Tebow.
Would have been epic if he never got permanently injured, but his body structure was never meant to play football.
He did what he set his mind too though.
A lot of people forget his run against LSU where he smoked the lbs and dbs. Dude was a beast before his injury.

No need to be rude in here. His play wasn't up to par and he deserves to be benched.
I hope Burrow gets out of Cincy. That franchise is as cursed as the Dolphins are.

He seems like a good dude and in spite of all the injuries, he seems pretty tough. He played through some brutal injuries at Bama and has been abused in the NFL. I really hope he doesn't have any lingering brain issues going forward. This shite just isn't that important.

He should retire for his own good. Football glory is not worth becoming a vegetable who can't walk or talk.

I think he naturally wanted to disprove what people were saying about him, but he has 2 kids now and needs to realize money wont give them a good father if he fricks himself up.

Dude had a sick release at Bama. I don't know if he just lost it or the NFL made him change, but kid had a unusual talent that set him apart.

Tua has had some freaky scary concussions.

I still go back and watch his TD throw to Waddle against Tennessee in 2018. He could not have handed him the ball better than that pass.
I know the one in the National Championship game is his most famous but Devonta was wide open, Waddle had two guys on him.

I think he's done. Not just with the Dolphins.
Unless something changes I don't think he can be an everyday starter. He just looks terrified to extend the play and take a hit, and for good reason. I'm just not sure that's something he can overcome knowing if he takes another hit to the head what that might cause.

His arm is dead and it was never that great to begin with.

I dont think he has a choice. Maybe he can find a backup gig but nobody is signing him as a starter

Just like that no starting QB's from Alabama in the NFL.

My hot take: He got greedy.
Your life and your well being are far more important than the millions you stood to gain getting your head bashed in several times a game when you already had pre-existing concussions.
For the record, I also think he's a tough kid but an average QB.

A bust from Alabama. What a surprise

As usual, any thread about Tua or Alabama is full of bleeding vaginas from LSU.
How pathetic can one fan base get? It seems certain LSU fans strive daily to out derp everyone else.
I think Tua had a busted leg/ ankle and he still ran it 40+ yards up the gut on LSU. Good times.
Bryant Denny West don't forget it.

He should have never even been allowed to play again after those concussions. Idiotic on all sides that he was allowed to do more damage to his head.
