Because Trump hasn't received nonstop attention the last 10 years. The man is talked about more than any other human on the planet. He's so desired that people make shite up about him and call it news.
When other people died, Trump has always been respectful. Why didn't he make those deaths about himself? If he was such an attention whore like you claim, surely he would have done so when RBG and others died. But he didn't.
Keep pretending it has nothing to do with Trump and Reiner's personal beef. Keep pretending that Reiner didn't spend the last several years spewing vile hatred for Trump. Keep pretending Reiner was just someone with a different opinion.
All the false equivalences people are making to be outraged is ridiculous. Comparing Kirk's assassination to Reiner's domestic violence murder is the dumbest, though.
I hope Rosie O'Donnell and Robert Deniro don't die while Trump is in office. Watching you people clutch pearls over Trump's words about fricking Rob Reiner is bad enough.
