Use him here for as long as we can. Let’s see if he can help us win games and build his value.

He should be brought in for about 20 minutes a game and none of which should be in the final 3 minutes.

1st game in his career that he did not start. I did not realize that.

Also, another weird fact I learned. Zion has only made 32 3pt shots in 7 seasons in the league. In his 1st game, he went 4 for 4 on 3pt shots. He's only made 28 since that game, in 224 total games.. It's insane. Bey has a horrible shooting stroke, and has made 45 3pts this year in 26 games (34% shooting). Why can't Zion shoot 3's?

He just doesn’t shoot them….also has had terrible coaching and obviously injuries.

Even if Zeon took 5 threes a game and shot 25%, I'd argue that would not only cut down his injuries, but it would make him a better player. He legitimately plays like a retard at the moment. And it's a large part of why he's always injured and why we don't win much when he plays. He's predictable and easy to guard. Imagine a playoff scout. I don't think he'd average 15 a game in the playoffs.

I know. That's a problem. He's a wing, he should be shooting them. At least 4-5 a game. He's a career 32% 3pt shooter (in a smaller sample size). So we can shoot.

What happened is that he had had an insane FG% and he doesn't want something pulling that number down. He thinks not shooting makes him more efficient.

Huh? Why would those matter? Coaches begged Ingram to shoot 3s, yet he never shot enough. You think they can make Zion do it?

I’m saying the coaches were terrible. Terrible coaches either:

A. Don’t setup players for success
B. Can’t get players to adopt to schemes
C. Don’t work through weaknesses and further develop players

In our case it’s all of the above. Just look at the way talent that left thrived elsewhere. However Zion is much to blame for his deficiencies as well.

Is that the game that he brought us back and then we sat him the last minute and lost because of a minute limit?

Man that game was so exciting. I was in my living room literally jumping up and down getting more and more excited after each three.

I will say it was the right call not to have him in at the end though. I don't think I've ever seen an NBA player breathing that heavy in a game or on the bench. He legit looked like he was about to die. That's part of the reason he shot those three's is by the end he was too tired to attempt to even dribble to the basket.

That was Zions most dominant season. i still say that nobody has made better use of Zion than SVG did.

B/c he sucks at shooting.
He's a terrible free throw shooter. His form is disgusting and there's nothign consistent about how he shoots. More often than not his free throws are very flat, which is why he's always coming up short. It's just an ugly form that isn't conducive to making any type of jump shot.
Maybe if he had the work ethic, he could have become a decent enough 3 point shooter in his career, but he's a lazy fat arse.
All of this is more maddening considering that everyone on the planet shoots 3's now a days, and grew up shooting them, except this lazy dumbass.
