Of course, of all artistic expressions, music may be the most subjective.
Yet the cultural connotations of bagpipes instill a deep sense of tradition and community belonging in me, as they are commonly played at traditional ceremonies such as weddings and funerals, as well as at community gatherings like parades and special holidays.
So though bagpipes certainly aren’t something I listen to everyday, it was music to my ears:
